The theme for this years’ Big Brother Naija  is ‘pepper dem’ and this has kept us all on our toes. This has made us want to either grab our bottle of water or glass of milk to quench the pepper in our mouths.

So far, this season has been unpredictable and intriguing. We have not been able to tell when the housemates will dish out their pepper sauce to us or when they will choose to act like the water, we use to quench our thirst.

However, the Season 4 of Big Brother Naija pepper dem is a show to keep up with because:

1.     You never know what the housemates might do.

You never know what the housemates might do.

This week, they have argued more about food than anything. Who would actually think they will be arguing about kitchen and food for over an hour? They actually called a house meeting to talk about food…interesting. There’s currently a singing challenge and Mike would not let our ears rest with his vocals as he attempts to get the Yoruba pronunciations correctly.

2.       Eviction shows put you on your toes.

Let us continue with the Ella train. Just when we were feeling Ella feel Mike, she leaves the house. Could Biggie not have spared her? We wanted to see how far this will go. Who remembers the first eviction night? I remember it clearly if you don’t. Biggie evicted, not one but two housemates…wait for the plot twist. Viewers did not vote the housemates out! Imagine the tension and pressure to come along with the weekly evictions shows.

3.       Margaret-tacha!

The famous name in the house-  Tacha is turning everyone’s head around with being an ‘Iron Lady’- not taking permission from whoever to cook (like everyone) and not cooking for others. She once said…I might be quoting wrongly however “I am not going to respect anyone, if you’re looking for respect go home”. This may not be the exact words, but you can sense the vibe I’m speaking of. She must be something for her two other housemates to insinuate that she might be ‘a witch’.

4.       Experience living with different personalities.

Sometimes we do not have to experience certain things in life directly; we could experience it through other people. Watching this show helps with an understanding of how different individuals behave and what their ideology and orientation in life is. This also helps with understanding how your background may and can affect your behaviour or habits.

You do not want to miss any of these! There’s more to offer than what has been touched on above. Some people will say ‘I did not see Ike and Mercy getting jiggy close to the jacuzzi because of NEPA’. Throw away your NEPA complaints and download DStv Now right now for your own good. You will not miss a moment of BBNaija because we all know almost everyone is on their smartphone these days. ‘How will I charge my phone when there is no light?’ My advice is you carry your charger around with you and plug your phone in wherever and whenever you see a charging port. Remember you can get the most out of BBNaija by downloading and using  DStv Now.

While others are complaining about missing the gist and the drama, you are on another boat recruiting others to join you as you sail towards the DStv Now app to enjoy your show.
