What better way to honour and immortalise Rachel Oniga, who passed away on 31 July 2021, than with this heartwarming appreciation video from Netflix.
The video, titled Iya Ni Wura, features her co-stars from A Naija Christmas including Abayomi Alvin, Linda Osifo, Kunle Remi, Mercy Johnson Okojie and Efa Iwara, who shared what it was like working with the late screen maven.
In A Naija Christmas, Oniga played the role of Eugenia Abu, a mother of three sons who was desperate to see them married. The Netflix Original movie is said to be the last movie Oniga appeared in before her demise.
Nollywood misses you and will miss you, Madam Oniga.
