Veteran filmmakers Emem and Uduak Isong are working on a new project which is the movie adaptation of their brother’s book, Radio Sunrise.
Radio Sunrise is a 2018 book written by Anietie Isong. Set in Lagos and the Niger Delta, the book is a satirical story centered around Ifiok, a Nigerian Journalist living and working in Lagos at a government-owned radio station – Radio Sunrise.
Emem Isong had shared via Instagram earlier this year that she would be working on the book’s adaptation with her sister.
However, production did not kick off till mid-June when Uduak Isong posted a picture on Instagram with the caption: ” Radio Sunrise train is on the move.”
No cast or release details yet but more details about the film will be out soon.
